What will you be doing? 
 
  • Execute all procurement activities in line with Aker Solutions’ Supply Chain Policy.
  • Own cost, schedule, and quality for your assigned scope.
  • Lead the end-to-end procurement process (sourcing, tendering, evaluation, negotiation, award, PO/contract administration).
  • Manage commercial negotiations; liaise with Legal on complex terms.
  • Monitor and report contract status, costs, schedules, risks, and changes; implement change management.
  • Keep ERP/project systems (e.g., SAP) accurate and up to date; maintain contract and correspondence records.
  • Build and manage supplier relationships; represent procurement to the supplier market; coordinate internal and vendor status meetings (some travel expected).
  • Establish and manage framework agreements where applicable.
  • Drive continuous improvement to reduce cost, improve quality, shorten lead times, and improve on-time delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and project requirements.
  • Maintain procurement budgets, tender forecasts, and project reporting; promote commercial awareness across the team.
     
We think you should have: 
 
  • At least two years of experience with project procurement
  • SAP experience
  • Good technical understanding and commercial skills, and basic understanding of customer needs
  • Solid communication skills in Norwegian and English (written and spoken)
  • Able to work independently on less complex tasks
  • Proactive and flexible, with a team-player attitude and solution-oriented mindset
  • Higher education within business and/or engineering. Can be replaced with long experience.

Working location: Tranby
Contract duration: 31.12.2026 with option for extension
