As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for a: Completion Engineer - mechanical trades for an exciting project at Sandsli.
 
You will join a project with a long-term duration.
 
Aker Solutions take care of energy assets in a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities. Now we explore opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. Aker Solutions employs approximately 11,000 people in more than 20 countries.
 
 
What will you be doing?
  • Reviewing supplier documentation
  • Following up suppliers and participating in FATs and SATs
  • Initiating and following up preservation routines
  • Tying tag numbers, commissioning packages, and work orders together in PIMS
  • Coordinating punch lists and driving punch closure with construction, vendors, and contractors
  • Developing and maintaining boundary documents
  • Coordinating interfaces across disciplines
  • Developing commissioning procedures
  • Resolving MC issues that impact commissioning readiness during engineering and construction
  • Providing input to and maintaining the commissioning plan
  • Preparing handover certificates

We think you should have
  • Must have 2 + years experience in Completion work within oil/gas industry.
  • Must have 2+ years experience with ProCoSys and Pims systems.
  • Solid understanding of mechanical systems such as pumps, compressors, piping, HVAC, and rotating equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, mechanical drawings, and technical specifications
  • Experience working in a site‑based environment or on large-scale industrial projects
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Certificate of apprenticeship, bachelor’s degree, or master’s degree
  • Comfortable working in French, Norwegian, and English
