What will you be doing?
Join a dynamic team at the forefront of electrical engineering within the energy sector as an LC-Electrical Engineer based in Stavanger. In this pivotal role, you will take ownership of electrical system engineering for LV consumers and switchboards, driving precision in electrical procurement, supplier coordination, and technical documentation. Your expertise will ensure compliance with quality, HSSE standards, and flawless execution from vendor interaction through to installation and commissioning. Be the key contributor to short circuit calculations, as-built documentation, and the successful delivery of complex projects that make a tangible impact.

Qualifications we think you should have:
  • Proven ability to manage electrical procurement packages and coordinate with suppliers effectively.
  • Strong competence in electrical system engineering related to LV consumers and switchboards.
  • Expertise in performing electrical calculations, including short circuit analysis.
  • Skilled in reviewing and preparing technical documents, drawings, and as-built mark-ups.
  • Proficient in planning and estimation activities within electrical engineering projects.
  • Excellent communication skills in Norwegian and English.
  • Strong IT literacy and familiarity with project-specific software tools.
  • Commitment to quality, safety, and health regulations (HSSE).
  • Available for work in Norway.
  • Good communication skills in Norwegian and English; a team player who is communicative, extroverted, and hands-on.

Nice-to-have skills
  • Experience with offshore survey and field instrument engineering.
  • Familiarity with automation, control engineering, and Fire & Gas systems.
  • Insights into cable dimensioning, layout design, and valve instrumentation.
  • Hands-on knowledge of preparing material take-offs (MTOs), requisitions, and installation job-cards.

Preferred education and experience
  • Relevant vocational education, bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or a closely related discipline.
  • Relevant trade certificates combined with practical experience within electrical engineering projects.
  • Demonstrated track record working in lifecycle or energy-focused engineering environments.

Other requirements
  • Position is full-time and based in Stavanger with no rotation requirements.
  • Willingness to collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, suppliers, and clients.
  • Ability to report to the Discipline Lead and Engineering Manager with proactive updates.
