Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.

Duration: 6-month plus
A 4-day workweek may be accepted; however, rotation arrangements are unfortunately not possible for these projects.
What will you be doing?
- Design verification
- Verify engineering and vendor documentation
- Ensure that the building method is implemented in EIT engineering
- Structure and divide work packages to achieve optimal production efficiency
- Verify location, installation, and HSSE-friendly design in the 3D model (PDMS)
- Follow up on DCNs to ensure implementation in work packages & Prepare EIT work packages
- Verify interfaces across all disciplines (EIT, piping, structural, civil, HVAC, etc.), suppliers, subcontractors, production, and planning departments
- Continuously strive for strong HSSE performance throughout the project
- Interface with IT/IS regarding engineering register systems, E3D/Navis, and MIPS Required
We think you should have:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree / relevant work experience may compensate for lack of formal education.
- Experience with DAK tools and solid general IT/computer skills
- Experience with as-built drawings and mechanical interface drawings Software Skills: MS Office 365 (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Planner, Power BI, Teams, SharePoint), MIPS, E3D, Navis, Language Skills:
- English & Scandinavian language
- FSEL course , EX course , First Aid (practical) Evaluation Criteria:
- Instrument equipment / tubing experience
