Completion Engineers – Electro / Instrument / Telecom

As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for several Completion Engineers – Electro / Instrument / Telecom for an exciting project at Stord.

This is a 14/21 Day rotation

Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.
What will you be doing?
  • Leading and executing MC activities within your defined area of responsibility
  • Planning, preparing, organizing and performing MC activities in line with project procedures and schedules
  • Ensuring HSE is assessed, planned, implemented and followed up for all MC activities in your scope
  • Providing input to budgeting and cost control for MC activities
  • Supporting the development of governing documents, procedures and work instructions for MC
  • Coordinating and driving progress to meet project targets
 
We think you should have:
  • Good understanding of Completion workflows and discipline processes
  • Minimum 2 years of experience from EPC projects within topside, facilities or renewables
  • Must hold valid FSE, Practical First Aid and EX course
  • Experience with AKSO projects is an advantage
  • Must have system experience in: MIPS, MS Office 365, PIMS/ProCoSys, Autodesk Simulate
  • Technical degree or bachelor’s degree — relevant experience may compensate
  • Team‑oriented, flexible and proactive
