The project operates in 14/21 day rotation scheme.
Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.

What will you be doing?
- Assist production in solving technical issues during construction and installation
- Interpret drawings and job packages for production teams
- Support Fabrication Engineering with documentation and technical solutions
- Ensure strong HSSE and quality performance throughout the work
- Drive continuous improvement of processes and products
- Coordinate with disciplines, Fab. Eng., planning and production
- Establish and follow up technical queries and seek construction-friendly solutions
We think you should have:
- Theoretical knowledge of Surface/PFP work and requirements
- Familiarity with project documents, standards and specifications
- Approx. 5 years relevant experience, preferably with leadership
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or technician with relevant skills (experience can compensate)
- Preferably Frosio Level II certification
- Experience with field engineering and job setting
- Surface treatment experience
- Software skills: MIPS, CCS, Navisworks, 3D and 2D CAD programs
- Fluent in English, written and spoken
- Strong collaboration skills, proactive attitude, and ability to work independently
