Foreman - EIT

As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for a: Foreman – Electro, Instrument, Telecom for an exciting project at Mongstad.
 
The project operates as 14/21 day rotation.


Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.
 
 
What will you be doing?

• Leading and developing operators based on Aker Solutions’ project strategies and goals.
• Being role model in HSSE, quality and productivity work.
• Making decisions based on multi discipline mindset according to the Aker Solutions Project Execution Model – PEM.
• Plan the next shift for the working team before the start - up meeting.
• Lead meetings at start-up and end of work on all work shifts.
• Ensure that the working team comply with working time in accordance with the work schedule and rotation.
• Support the work team through the shift.
• Handle changes in the work schedule.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in the working team.
• Prepare weekly work schedules.
• Close-up work packages.
• Ensure good overlap with the next shift.
• Maintain and develop own competence.
• Perform monthly meetings with own working team.
• Interfaces and coordination.

 
 
We think you should have:

• Minimum vocational education with trade certificate.
• Good leadership skills.
• Good knowledge of the work processes within the discipline that is being carried out.
• Minimum 5-year experience from EPC processes within Topside and facilities / Renewables Segments.
• Skills in conflict management.
• Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in MIPS.
• Skills in MS Office 365.
