What will you be doing?
- As a Method Engineer in our Method Department within Workforce Excellence Installation, you will be involved in activities to ensure an optimal installation method.
- Obtain detailed knowledge of the project integration scope of work
- Follow up, advise and give input to other engineering disciplines such as piping, structural, mechanical and EIT
- Prepare method drawings and installation friendly solutions in design
- Prepare, hold and participate in constructability review
- Prepare and follow up method reports and any changes in scope of work
- Ensure that work is performed in accordance with the method schedule & budgets and our project execution model in all phases of a project
- Prepare and give input to installation schedule. Focus on multidiscipline sequence
- Identify shutdown activities and perform offshore surveys
- Ensure that work is performed with focus on Quality and HSSE
- Cooperate with our DigiTech unit and our clients
Qualifications we think you should have:
- Master, bachelor's degree or technical vocational school or specialisations in maintenance or reliability engineering are advantageous.
- Areas of competence such as commissioning, mechanical and/or electro/instrumentation engineering.
- Experience as a Supervisor on/offshore will be an advantage.
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience – preferably from the energy/oil & gas industry
- Solid cooperative and communication skills, both written and oral in Norwegian and English
- Valid offshore certificate
- Software Skills: MIPS, SAP, procosys and TIME
- Available for work in Norway
- Good communicative skills in Norwegian and English
