We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities.

What will you be doing? 
  • As a Method Engineer in our Method Department within Workforce Excellence Installation, you will be involved in activities to ensure an optimal installation method. 
  • Obtain detailed knowledge of the project integration scope of work 
  • Follow up, advise and give input to other engineering disciplines such as piping, structural, mechanical and EIT 
  • Prepare method drawings and installation friendly solutions in design 
  • Prepare, hold and participate in constructability review 
  • Prepare and follow up method reports and any changes in scope of work 
  • Ensure that work is performed in accordance with the method schedule & budgets and our project execution model in all phases of a project 
  • Prepare and give input to installation schedule. Focus on multidiscipline sequence 
  • Identify shutdown activities and perform offshore surveys 
  • Ensure that work is performed with focus on Quality and HSSE 
  • Cooperate with our DigiTech unit and our clients 

Qualifications we think you should have:
  • Master, bachelor's degree or technical vocational school or specialisations in maintenance or reliability engineering are advantageous.
  • Areas of competence such as commissioning, mechanical and/or electro/instrumentation engineering. 
  • Experience as a Supervisor on/offshore will be an advantage. 
  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience – preferably from the energy/oil & gas industry 
  • Solid cooperative and communication skills, both written and oral in Norwegian and English 
  • Valid offshore certificate 
  • Software Skills: MIPS, SAP, procosys and TIME 
  • Available for work in Norway
  • Good communicative skills in Norwegian and English
