We are now seeking a Senior Instrument Package Responsible Engineer (PRE) with solid FEED and concept‑study experience to join the Wisting C Study project.
About the Role
The PRE – Instrument Packages Engineer will play a key role in field instrumentation design and philosophy development for an FPSO environment. You will contribute to concept studies, provide discipline expertise, and ensure high-quality technical deliveries across multidisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate is proactive, solution-oriented, and experienced in EPC/EPMA project environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute concept study activities related to field instrumentation
- Develop Field Instrumentation Philosophies and define instrumentation topology
- Provide input to Master Equipment Lists (MEL) and layout engineering
- Perform discipline-wide instrument study activities
- Contribute to automation philosophies and integration solutions
- Collaborate effectively with other engineering disciplines to secure robust, high-quality technical outcomes
Professional Experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience within Oil & Gas FPSO projects
- Strong competence in field instrumentation, instrument level, and instrument flow
- Demonstrated EPC/EPMA project execution experience
- Concept‑study or FEED experience is an advantage
- Ability to work independently and in interdisciplinary teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Proficient in ProArc
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Instrumentation, Automation, or a related engineering discipline
- Responsible, structured, and execution‑oriented
- Strong technical interest with an ability to propose practical solutions
- Team‑player with strong collaboration and communication skills
