We are now looking for a Project HSSE Manager in our OneSubsea office in Lysaker.
In this role, you will:
- Lead and drive HSSE in SPS projects.
- Establish and implement HSSE Management System, program, and plans in line with both internal and external requirements.
- Build and manage an effective HSSE organization that supports line management and project goals.
- Take an active role to ensure that the OneSubsea global HSSE functional agenda is implemented in the project, and liaise with the chief officers in the HSSE function.
- Ensure that Supplier/Subcontractor HSSE governance and performance are considered during selection, and closely monitor throughout the contract lifecycle, and initiate improvement initiatives as required.
- Facilitate process safety management and ensure timely reporting and investigation of incidents.
- Lead, coordinate and report on Client requests, including KPOs, and following up on critical HSSE issues.
- Communicate and share HSSE-performance, messages and lessons learned to stakeholders.
- Secure efficient working interfaces and active dialogue with Client representatives.
- Bachelor`s or Master`s degree in engineering, HSSE or other relevant areas. Relevant work experience may compensate for a lack of formal education.
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in similar HSSE positions, preferably in the oil & gas industry.
- Deep understanding of ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and NORSOK requirements.
- Customer-focused and self-driven personality with the ability to make decisions independently.
- High work capacity, drive, and engagement for HSSE with a strong people focus
- Knowledge of auditing, readiness reviews and investigation techniques.
- Experience in setting high standards and driving teams to achieve strategic goals.
- Leadership/team management experience with an energetic and proactive attitude.
- Crisis- and Emergency Response Management experience.
- Fluent in both spoken and written English.
Contract duration: 1 year with option for extension.
