Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.
What will you be doing?
- Reviewing supplier documents and procedures
- Monitoring and expediting supplier progress
- Participating in vendor witness tests, mechanical completion (MC) punch-outs, FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing), preservation, release, and other relevant activities
- Using ProArc and MIPS – PPFP, based on supplier ITP and EPMS (Inspection & Test Plan / Engineering Procurement Manufacturing Schedule)
- Inspecting equipment and manufacturing processes to ensure quality
- Being present at required and agreed witness/hold points
- Following up on inspections, tests, and documentation
We think you should have:
- Good knowledge of work processes within the relevant discipline
- Minimum 2 years of experience with EPC processes in Topside and Facilities / Renewables segments
- FSE & First Aid course required – DSB approved
- Technical or Bachelor's degree (relevant experience may compensate for lack of formal education)
- Proficiency in MIPS, PCS (Pims, ProCoSys), and Autodesk Simulate
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work proactively and collaboratively as a team player
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written
