Quality Surveillance Mechanical Engineer – Driving Excellence in Mechanical Equipment Quality

Join a dynamic team at the forefront of the Oslo CCS & Northern Lights II projects as a Quality Surveillance Mechanical Engineer. In this critical role, you will ensure the highest standards of quality for mechanical equipment procurement packages, travelling across Europe to inspect and follow up on supplier deliveries. With a blend of technical expertise and independent work, you’ll play a vital part in delivering sustainable and innovative energy solutions, supporting a cleaner future.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in mechanical equipment quality surveillance and inspection
  • Ability to work independently and confidently manage tasks on-site
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance processes
Nice to Have Skills:

  • Proficiency in software tools such as IX, Aize, ProArc, MIPS, and CCS
  • Rotating Equipment experience
  • Fluency in Norwegian
  • Prior experience within energy or EPCIC projects
Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline; equivalent relevant experience will be considered
  • Demonstrated background in mechanical equipment procurement or quality control within large-scale industrial projects

Other Requirements:


  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively across Europe, often working alone on-site
  • Flexibility to work from home office or company locations in Oslo or Stord when not travelling
