Aker Solutions take care of energy assets in a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities.
What will you be doing?
- Acting as SAS engineer on EPCI modification and maintenance projects
- Designing and integrating SAS systems and participating in F&G reviews
- Delivering system design for process, utility and electrical systems
- Following up vendor documentation and participating in FAT
- Preparing engineering documents such as F&G, C&E, SCDs, ESD/PSD logic and work packages
- Handling interface coordination, as‑built updates and red‑line markups
- Supporting quality, HSSE, progress reporting and change management
- Conducting offshore surveys
- Minimum 5 years experience within SAS, automation or control systems
- Strong skills in PCS, F&G, ESD/PSD and integration of field devices
- Experience with IEC 61508/61511 and NORSOK I‑002
- Ability to review supplier documentation and verify software/hardware deliveries
- Experience supporting installation and MC of SAS equipment
- Ability to work across disciplines like process, electrical, safety and HVAC
- EX Basic, EXi Basic and GSK offshore course
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Education: vocational school, bachelor or master
