Aker Solutions take care of energy assets in a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities. Now we explore opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. Aker Solutions employs approximately 11,000 people in more than 20 countries.
 
What will you be doing?
  • Leading study tie‑in projects and contributing to structural study work
  • Performing global and local analyses using DNVGL Sesam
  • Writing structural design reports
  • Working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Managing interfaces and coordination with other disciplines
  • Supporting offshore surveys when required
 
We think you should have:
  • Experience from study tie‑in projects and structural study work
  • Good knowledge of NORSOK standards
  • Skills in SESAM, GENIE, Mathcad are beneficial
  • Familiarity with Eurocode and DNV standards and knowledge of E3D and Navisworks
  • Experience from offshore surveys
  • Offshore certification is an advantage
  • Strong communication skills, mobility and availability to support project execution
  • Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline
