What You Will Do
As a System Developer, you will contribute across the stack, from user‑facing functionality to backend services and integrations. You will collaborate with engineers, testers, and product stakeholders to implement new capabilities, improve maintainability, and ensure reliability and secure operation.
Typical responsibilities include:
- Designing and building cloud and backend functionality in a modern full-stack environment.
- Developing and maintaining APIs and integration services that connect systems and data flows.
- Contributing to solution design, implementation choices, and continuous improvement of code quality and maintainability.
- Participating in code reviews, DevOps practices, testing, and deployment processes as part of a product team delivery cadence.
- Working with containerized services and modern engineering tooling where relevant.
Key qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or closely related fields.
- Relevant professional experience in system-level software development within product-driven organizations.
- Experience building and maintaining backend services and APIs, including integrations and end‑to‑end data flows.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices, code reviews, and working in a structured engineering environment with quality and maintainability expectations.
- Hands-on experience in secure data platform development or industrial IoT systems.
- Familiarity with cloud services integration and scalable architecture design.
- Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and deployment best practices.
- Fluent in English, written and spoken. Norwegian language is a plus.
Contract duration: 6 months with option for extension
