What You Will Do
- Develop and execute structured testing activities throughout the development lifecycle.
- Create and maintain test plans, test procedures, test cases, and test reports.
- Run and redline test procedures to document issues and improvements.
- Perform both manual and automated testing at software, system, and integration levels
- Support troubleshooting of hardware and system setups and defect resolution in close collaboration with development teams.
- Hands-on system and lab work: manage software on test systems, execution of basic software sequences and commands
- Work with PLC and SCADA based systems during system and integration testing.
Key qualifications
- Relevant degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
- Experience with software testing, either manual, automated, or a combination of both
- Experience with complex systems in test or lab environments
- Familiarity with PLC and SCADA technologies
- Strong skills in developing and maintaining technical documentation: test plans, procedures, and reports
- Exposure to safety-critical or regulated environments is an advantage
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering teams to resolve issues
- Fluent English communication, both written and verbal
Work location: Kristiansand, in-office role
Contract duration: 6 months with option for extension
