As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for:
Field Engineer – Insulation (15/13 Rotation) with experience in onshore or offshore projects.
 
Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.
 
What will you be doing?
  • Prepare and ensure high-quality job packages in line with project requirements
  • Make sure building methods are implemented in all work packages
  • Follow up on changes and ensure they are reflected in the latest job packages
  • Support production by resolving technical issues during construction and installation
  • Assist fabrication engineering with technical documentation and solutions

Qualifications we think you should have:
  • You are fluent in Norwegian and English
  • Good knowledge of piping and equipment insulation work and requirements
  • Familiar with relevant project documents, standards, and specifications
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's or master’s degree, or technician with relevant skills (experience may compensate for formal education)
  • Preferably Frosio Level II
  • Experience with work order creation and field engineering
  • Strong collaboration skills, proactive and independent attitude
  • Proficient in MIPS, CCS, and 3D tools
