Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.
What will you be doing?
- Define and organize work tasks, routine and procedures for the group.
- Together with discipline leader in the project, ensure that the group has correct manpower with regards to number and competence.
- Being responsible for the group deliverables and that these are according to agreed quality, schedules and governing documents in the project.
- Being responsible that the groups scope of work (SOW) are known and continuously communicated within the group.
- Initiate corrective action in cooperation with discipline leader with deviation on routines.
- Report progress according to applicable schedules.
- Contribute so that the corporate/department/discipline governing documentation is updated with experience from on-going projects.
- Delegate the tasks to colleagues within the discipline.
- Inform members of the group of the status and progress regularly.
- Adapt and maintain governing documentation for the discipline. This is to be done in cooperation with discipline lead and department manager.
- Understand and act according to Kvaerner and the project’s HSSE policy.
- At project start/end provide for experience transfer and report according to Governing document. This is to be done in cooperation with Discipline Lead Piping.
- Contribute with continual improvements work
We think you should have:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree. Experience may compensate for lack of formal education.
- Minimum 5 five years relevant experience from the subject area.
- Leadership experience.
- Good knowledge of the work method and systems within the group.
- Knowledge and experience of MIPS and E3D.
- General good knowledge to basic computing.
- Fluency in English and Norwegian, both verbal and written.
