Completion Engineer with experience in onshore or offshore projects.
This is a short assignment with start-up ASAP.
Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.
What will you be doing?
- Define and implement MC and Preservation requirements based on project documentation and supplier input
- Prepare and issue Package Completion Dossiers (PCDs) with preservation scope
- Develop and maintain Completion schedules and deliverables
- Assign SITE responsibilities and define scope in collaboration with engineering and project teams
- Ensure technical data is updated in CMS and transferred to PCS
- Coordinate with Engineering to maintain updated key documents and deliver Commissioning boundary drawings
- Define MC Packages, link equipment and test data, and allocate ITRs
- Report weekly progress and follow up on discrepancies
- You are fluent in Norwegian and English
- Good knowledge of relevant work processes in MC and Preservation
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in EPC projects (Topside, Facilities, or Renewables)
- Need to have prior experience with completion engineering experience with planning, budgeting, documentation (tender work).
- Need to have prior experience with Completion Management Systems (CMS)
- Technical or Bachelor’s degree, relevant experience may compensate for lack of formal education
- Software skills: MIPS, MS Office 365, PCS (Pims, ProCoSys) and Autodesk Simulate
