Planner - Decommissioning

As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner, NES Advantage is now looking for a Planner – Decommissioning to take an active role in a long-term project in Stord. This position offers the opportunity to influence planning strategy, work closely with a professional and collaborative team, and contribute to continuous improvement through digitalization and smart planning solutions.
 
Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.
 
What will you be doing?
  • Develop and manage project execution schedules across all phases
  • Ensure all planning activities adhere to project and company standards
  • Drive planning efficiency through digital tools and continuous improvement
  • Monitor schedule performance, progress, and resource needs
  • Establish stakeholder reporting frameworks
  • Analyze schedule deviations and implement corrective actions
  • Support consequence assessments and re-scheduling efforts
 
Qualifications we think you should have:
  • Solid experience with project planning in industrial or energy-related projects
  • Proficiency in Safran Project, Microsoft 365, and general IT tools
  • Fluent in Norwegian and English
  • Structured, proactive, and HSSE-focused mindset
  • Collaborative and team-oriented approach
  • Skilled worker or degree in energy, renewables, or related fields
  • Relevant experience may substitute formal education
