SLB Capturi is one of the leading companies globally that has extensive knowledge of the entire CCUS value chain. They have many ongoing projects, from research and innovation, including pilot plant testing, to concept studies and to large EPC projects, both in Europe and in the United States. Today, they are delivering seven carbon capture units in Europe, with an accumulated capture capacity of 1 million tonnes of CO2. In Denmark, we are delivering five Just Catch 100 units to Ørsted, in the Netherlands one Just Catch 100 unit to Twence, and in Norway a Big Catch to Heidelberg Materials.
What will you be doing?
As a Procurement Specialist you will play a key role in ensuring items or services are purchased from specified suppliers and are delivered upon agreed terms & conditions, maximizing value for the company. You will be the one who is going to work in the SAP system during the entire PO lifecycle time.
You’ll be responsible for executing daily purchasing activities with precision and consistency, adhering to established procedures while maintaining high standards of quality, quantity, and timing. In this role, you’ll also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support knowledge sharing across procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for purchase order (PO) processing from A to Å.
- Ensure that a PO is created correctly (currencies, quantity, etc.) and follow up on any issues related to PO creation.
- Create and dispatch supplier POs to supplier.
- Monitor POs and support stakeholders.
- Escalate complex issues to the Procurement Manager.
- Follow up orders with suppliers when it is necessary.
- Ensure data in SAP to be updated and according to the contract execution developments.
- Perform problem solving for noncomplex issues.
- Handle supplier invoices and follow up when required.
- Propose process improvements when required.
- Track deviations and raise nonconformances.
- Follow up on nonconformances for POs.
- Use all required procurement tools when required or mandated by process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant work experience may substitute for formal education.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement or buyer roles.
- SAP knowledge is a must.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams etc.). Be able to make reports from SAP and present them to the team.
- Demonstrated ability to manage POs, supplier interactions, and invoice follow-ups.
- Proactive and solution-oriented approach to resolving issues and improving processes.
- Effective communicator across diverse stakeholders.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Quick learner with the ability to manage multiple procurement tasks at the same time.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Contract duration: 1 year with option for extension
