Aker Solutions take care of energy assets in a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities.
What will you be doing?
- Work as a SAS/Automation Engineer for Aker Solutions Bergen
- Participate in FEED studies initiated in EPCIC change requests
- Design and develop control systems such as ESD, PSD, and PCS, with a focus on high-level PSD shutdown hierarchies
- Collaborate closely with the process discipline, using the K-Spice simulator for co-design and validation
- Ensure high-quality engineering input and alignment with Equinor standards and project requirements
We think you should have:
- Minimum 3–5 years of engineering experience, preferably from onshore or offshore oil & gas projects
- Experience working with Equinor engineering systems
- Strong interest in technological development and continuous improvement of work methods
- Proficiency in Norwegian, English, or other Scandinavian languages
- Accurate, flexible, and well-organized mindset with a service-oriented approach
- Ability to take initiative and work both independently and collaboratively in teams
