The Role
As an HR Business Partner, you will manage HR related matters and act as a trusted advisor to the business and managers. You will ensure the effective implementation of HR processes and procedures, while supporting alignment with HR strategies and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities
Purpose
• Advise and support managers and the business on HR related matters
• Ensure implementation and alignment with HR procedures and processes
Accountabilities
• Provide HR advisory support to managers on topics such as compensation, job positioning and employee matters
• Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations and internal procedures
• Manage preventive sick leave initiatives and sick leave follow up
• Handle union relations, occupational health and safety, and equal employment opportunities
• Deliver and support manager training initiatives
• Support, maintain and develop HR tools and documentation
• Ensure alignment of HR strategies, plans and roles
• Secure accurate HR master data
• Implement new HR tools and systems
• Take personal responsibility for HSSE
Deliveries
• Partner closely with business leaders
• Advise on workforce strategy, talent management and conflict resolution
• Approve routine HR actions (e.g. transfers and minor adjustments); escalate non routine or high impact matters to VP level
• Ensure compliance with Norwegian legislation, including the Working Environment Act
Authority
• Support business unit leaders with workforce planning, succession and engagement
• Approve new hires and salary adjustments within established policies
