Aker Solutions take care of energy assets in a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities. Now we explore opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. What will you be doing?
- Participating in FEED studies and continuing into EPCI modification and maintenance projects
- Working as a SAS engineer with responsibility for system design and integration
- Contributing to fire and gas safety reviews and system design for process, utility and electrical systems
- Following up equipment packages, automation systems and vendor documentation, including participation in FAT
- Preparing and maintaining key engineering documentation such as F&G, C&E, SCDs and ESD/PSD logic
- Providing engineering input to work packages and maintaining progress within your discipline
- Performing as‑built updates and supporting offshore surveys when required
- Ensuring quality, HSSE and change management within your scope
We think you should have:
- Minimum 5 years of experience within SAS, automation or control systems
- Experience from FEED studies and EPCI projects
- Strong competence in process control, monitoring, fire and gas, ESD and PSD systems
- Experience with procurement processes and supplier follow‑up
- Ability to support installation, Mechanical Completion and commissioning activities
- Experience developing and maintaining system documentation such as system philosophies
- Knowledge of IEC 61508/61511 and NORSOK I‑002
- Strong interdisciplinary understanding across process, electrical, safety and HVAC
- Independent, structured and with a relevant technical background
- EX Basic and EXi Basic certification
- Associate degree, vocational school or BSc in a relevant discipline
