Role Summary
The Operator is responsible for executing field operations safely, efficiently, and in compliance with Baker Hughes standards and customer requirements. This role supports service delivery by operating equipment, maintaining tools, and ensuring high-quality execution of assigned tasks in onshore and/or offshore environments.
Operators play a critical role in delivering operational excellence while upholding Baker Hughes’ commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform operational activities in line with Baker Hughes procedures, safety standards, and customer requirements
  • Operate and maintain equipment, tools, and machinery to ensure optimal performance and reliability
  • Support the preparation, execution, and completion of field jobs
  • Ensure all work is conducted in compliance with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) policies and regulatory requirements
  • Conduct pre-job safety checks, risk assessments, and toolbox talks
  • Monitor equipment performance and report any faults, failures, or maintenance needs
  • Maintain accurate operational records, logs, and reports
  • Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and customer representatives to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and transportation of tools and equipment
  • Participate in training and competency development programs
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent technical qualification
  • Relevant vocational or technical training (preferred)
  • Basic experience in oilfield services, manufacturing, or industrial operations (entry-level roles may be considered)
