Role Summary:
As HR Shared Services Specialist, you will work within the HR Shared Services – Global Records Management team reporting to the HRSS Global Records Management lead. You will partner not only with a multi-cultural team but with other functions such as Preboarding, Payroll, Digital HR, Learning Admin, Audit & Compliance and HR Partners.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Answering queries and requests on global processes - with a focus on Baker Hughes learning systems and records management processes; by referring to company policies and standard operating procedures.
- Driving increased productivity and compliance through process improvements, standardization, and simplification within assigned area(s).
- Maintaining high standards of accuracy, timeliness, and quality to ensure compliance with relevant legal and Baker Hughes policy requirements and employee experience.
- Developing effective relationships with stakeholders through strong interpersonal skills and proactive communication.
- Support Data Integrity initiatives in Workday and other HR systems as applicable.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in a HR support or an administrative or client services role.
- Graduate Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Social Sciences background.
- Customer focused with the ability to provide remote HR support via a Global HRSS Center.
- Excellent written, verbal communication and strong inter-personal skills.
Desired Characteristics:
- Great analytics, business, and financial acumen with the ability to analyze complex data, draw conclusions and offer recommendations.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Familiarity with customer service environment and ability to meet identified targets, KPIs and SLA.
- Experience using systems and tools such as Microsoft office package, Workday, Service Now, Signature administrator systems and document management systems.
