Aker Solutions take care of energy assets in a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities.
What will you be doing?
- Work primarily with SAS systems, ensuring solid instrument engineering integration
- Design, develop, and follow up SAS system solutions in line with client requirements
- Contribute to EPCIC modification and maintenance projects as SAS engineer
- Produce and maintain key engineering documentation (e.g. F&G, C&E, SCD, logic diagrams)
- Interface with vendors, review technical documentation, and participate in FAT/testing
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, suppliers, and clients to ensure progress
- Support studies, system design, and package deliveries within automation and control
- Ensure quality, HSSE compliance, and follow-up of changes within own discipline
We think you should have:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant engineering experience
- Bachelor’s or Technical degree
- Experience with process control, monitoring, and F&G/ESD/PSD systems
- Ability to develop and maintain system design documentation (philosophies, specs, alarms)
- Experience with supplier follow-up, documentation review, and deliverable verification
- Ability to translate process requirements into system solutions
- Familiar with multidisciplinary interfaces (process, electrical, safety, HVAC)
- Experience with procurement processes and installation/commissioning support
- Knowledge of NORSOK I-002 and IEC/PAS 63131:2017
- Fluency in Norwegian, both verbal and written.
