  • Week 1: Thursday & Friday, 8 hours/day (16 hours)
  • Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday & Friday, 8 hours/day (24 hours)

Position Overview
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Production Supply & Logistics Analyst to join the Customer Service Production Supply & Logistics team. This customer service operations role is responsible for the forecasting, planning, tracking, and reporting of crude oil and diluent volumes transported through gathering systems and terminals.
The successful candidate will act as a key liaison between shippers, pipeline-connected facilities, field operations personnel, and internal stakeholders, ensuring accurate volumetric accounting, contractual compliance, and efficient fluid movement throughout the system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Model, monitor, and track physical fluid movements through gathering systems and terminals to meet customer and supply requirements.
  • Manage contractual transactions and shipper positions across pipelines and terminals to ensure inventory balances and contractual obligations are maintained.
  • Generate month-end volumetric accounting reports for multiple products and shippers.
  • Support quarterly forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning activities.
  • Manage volumetric forecasts and resolve nomination issues through ongoing customer communication.
  • Perform system forecasting and reconciliations to maintain operational balances.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between shippers, pipeline-connected facility operators, and field operations teams to coordinate nominations, throughput, and operational activities.
  • Analyze operational constraints and develop contingency plans to address pipeline and logistics challenges.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and resolving issues impacting pipeline, terminal, and carrier operations.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve analytical tools, applications, and report workbooks.
  • Complete industry and regulatory reporting, including Petroleum Registry, internal controls, and audit requirements.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, administrator, and business tester for pipeline management systems.
  • Monitor system capacity and support restriction, curtailment, and apportionment activities.
  • Support special projects and continuous improvement initiatives as required.
  • Provide occasional after-hours or weekend support during critical operational events or deadlines.
Required Qualifications
  • Post-secondary degree, diploma, or certificate in Business, Economics, Supply Chain, Commerce, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience in crude oil, energy, logistics, supply chain, transportation, or related operations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong customer service orientation and commitment to operational excellence.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with crude oil logistics, transportation, scheduling, or forecasting.
  • Knowledge of pipeline operations and inventory management practices.
  • Understanding of oil blending processes.
  • Experience with industry reporting systems and processes, including:
    • Petroleum Registry
    • COLC
    • Petrinex
  • Experience working with operational, forecasting, and volumetric accounting systems.
