Job Title: Senior Software Engineer
Location: Bangalore, India
Contract Duration: 12 months with an extension
Rotation / Work Schedule:  5 days/ week & 8 hours/ day (2 days / week from Office)
Role-based (Office, Onshore, Offshore or Workshop): Office based.

Role Type : NES Contractor

Role Summary: An experienced Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in C# and modern .NET technologies to work on enterprise-grade desktop applications. This role requires deep hands-on experience in clean, testable, and scalable software design, with a strong foundation in object-oriented programming, design patterns, and architectural best practices. The candidate will contribute to the design, development, refactoring, and testing of complex desktop software systems used in engineering and industrial environments.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain C#-based desktop applications using .NET Framework and modern .NET (.NET Core / .NET 5/6/7/8)
  • Apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles to build maintainable and extensible software components
  • Implement Clean Architecture and Domain-Driven Design (DDD) concepts
  • Apply SOLID principles and industry-standard design patterns
  • Use Dependency Injection to improve modularity and testability
  • Write efficient data queries using LINQ
  • Develop and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality
  • Participating in code reviews
  • Collaborate with architects, QA, and product stakeholders

Essential Requirements of the role (Experience / Skills / Competencies):
  • Years of experience: 9 – 12 years’ experience in software with expertise in C# and modern .NET core technologies.
  • Field of experience: C# and modern .NET core technologies
  • Technical Skills: Strong hands-on experience in C#, .NET Framework and modern, .NET (.NET Core / .NET 5/6/7/8); Strong C++ candidate willing to switch to C#; Object-Oriented Programming (OOP); LINQ for data querying and manipulation; Dependency Injection frameworks and patterns
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Ability to work independently as a contractor; Clear communication and collaboration skills; High attention to code quality and documentation
  • Tools or Software (Required / Preferred): C# and modern .NET core technologies
  • Education Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (CSE / IT / ECE)
  • Target Companies: Any Healthcare (ultrasound) software Industry / GE Healthcare, Philip Healthcare, Siemens Health Engineering, BOSOCH, Harman etc.
  • Off-limits Companies: None
  • Required Accreditations / Qualifications / Certification / Licenses, including Driving License: None
