Process Engineer

As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for: Process Engineer in Bergen.
 
Aker Solutions take care of energy assets in a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities.
 
 
What will you be doing?

• Be responsible for assigned discipline deliverables within process engineering.
• Develop and perform quality checks of process and utility system designs.
• Prepare and quality assure process deliverables, including P&IDs, PFDs/UFDs, process datasheets, line sizing, line lists, calculations, calculation reports, and process/system documentation.
• Prepare for and actively participate in HAZOP studies, process design reviews, and other relevant safety reviews.
• Ensure that deliverables are completed in accordance with project requirements, governing standards, and quality expectations.

 
 
We think you should have:

• Experience from modification projects in the oil and gas industry.
• Knowledge of Equinor standards, NORSOK standards, and relevant Norwegian regulations.
• Familiarity with API, ISO, and ASME standards.
• Relevant education at BSc level within engineering, science, or a related discipline.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication skills in both Norwegian and English, written and spoken.
• Experience with software tools such as TIME, STID and MicroStation.
• Experience with UniSim is considered an advantage.
