Job Overview
We are currently looking for experienced Quantity Surveyors to support a major FPSO / offshore construction project in Singapore with a reputable EPC company.
This is a EPC-based role located at Singapore Shiyard. The role will involve supporting the commercial, contractual, and cost-related activities of the project, working closely with construction, planning, procurement, project control, subcontractor, and management teams.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in quantity surveying, cost control, contract administration, progress measurement, variation claims, subcontractor claims review, and commercial documentation within an FPSO, offshore, marine, shipyard, EPC, or oil & gas project environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage quantity surveying and commercial activities for FPSO / offshore yard construction scope.
• Review project scope, drawings, BOQ, specifications, and commercial documents.
• Carry out progress measurement, valuation, and verification of completed works.
• Review and assess subcontractor progress claims, invoices, and payment applications.
• Prepare, review, and support variation orders, change orders, and additional work claims.
• Monitor project cost, budget, progress, and commercial risks.
• Support contract administration and ensure compliance with project contractual requirements.
• Coordinate closely with construction, planning, procurement, project control, finance, and subcontractor teams.
• Assist in cost reporting, forecasting, and commercial status updates.
• Maintain proper records and documentation for claims, variations, progress measurement, and project close-out.
• Support project close-out activities, including final account review and commercial documentation.
Key Requirements
• Relevant experience as a Quantity Surveyor within FPSO, offshore, marine, shipyard, EPC, oil & gas, or large-scale construction projects.
• Strong experience in cost control, contract administration, progress measurement, valuation, and subcontractor claims review.
• Good understanding of BOQ, construction scope, drawings, and project specifications.
• Experience handling variation claims, change orders, subcontractor payments, and commercial documentation.
• Ability to work closely with construction and project teams in a fast-paced yard environment.
• Preferably candidates with experience in 2 or more FPSO construction projects.
• Full FPSO construction project lifecycle experience, from construction phase through to mechanical completion, handover, or close-out, will be highly advantageous.
• Good communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple commercial priorities.
• Preferably Singaporean or Singapore PR candidates.
Assignment Details:

• Work location: Seatrium Mega yard, Singapore
• Work arrangement: Yard-based role
• Work schedule: Six days per week
• Pay rate range: USD 300 – 400 per day (CPF is provided)
• Transport: Not provided; candidate will need to manage their own transport
• Project: Major FPSO / offshore construction project
• Preferably Singaporean or locally based candidates
