Aker Solutions take care of energy assets in a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities. Now we explore opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. Aker Solutions employs approximately 11,000 people in more than 20 countries.
 
What will you be doing?
  • Working as SAS engineer in FEED studies and EPCI modification and maintenance projects
  • Designing and integrating SAS systems, including interfaces and safety functions
  • Participating in fire and gas safety reviews
  • Following up vendors, technical documentation and participating in FAT
  • Preparing key engineering documents such as F&G, C&E, SCDs and ESD/PSD logic
  • Providing engineering input to work packages and reporting progress
  • Performing as‑built updates and participating in offshore surveys
  • Ensuring quality, HSSE and change management within own scope
 
We think you should have:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an SAS or automation engineer
  • Experience from FEED studies and EPCI projects
  • Strong competence in control, monitoring, F&G, ESD and PSD systems
  • Experience with supplier follow‑up and procurement activities
  • Ability to support installation, MC and commissioning
  • Knowledge of IEC 61508/61511 and NORSOK I‑002
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership
  • EX Basic and EXi Basic certification
  • Education from vocational school, associate degree or BSc
