Role Summary: - 
The Cementing Supervisor/Field Supervisor (Field Specialist) must carry out all the cementing and other allied jobs carried out with cementing unit during drilling of oil and gas wells. He must supervise all cementing jobs at the Rigs and ensures that they are done within the recommended specifications, procedures and polices including but not limited to as listed below:
Casing cementation for all sizes of casing, Liner cementation for all sizes of liners, Stage cementation for all sizes of casings, BOP stack testing up to 15,000 psi or as required, Acid jobs and other allied jobs, Squeeze jobs, plug jobs and retainer jobs, Diesel pumping, packer and other pressure pumping jobs, Leak off test, Misc. Pressure testing up-to 15,000 psi.
 
Essential Responsibilities: -
To supervise directly at site on all jobs as & when request by ONGC. To co-ordinate with ONGC and Base Engineer for successfully carrying out all cementation jobs, technical
support for all aspects of cementing, pressure testing and associated cementing units,
equipment/ tools  and shall carry out  all  connected  activities  in  accordance  with  the offshore standards.
Field Engineer if in base has to attend morning / evening meeting in the office of LM Cementing and  has  to coordinate  with ONGC Field  Manager  on day-to-day  basis  for
smooth field operations & to interact with their Cementing Operator before and after the cement job.
Qualifications Requirements:
Field Supervisor should have an experience of at least five years in case of Bachelor’s Degree and ten years in case Diploma (after obtaining stipulated qualification) in planning and supervising of cementing and stimulation jobs in offshore rigs. and should also have undergone basic training in Cementing in reputed cementing school, such as Halliburton / Dowell Schlumberger / BJ / IDT (ONGC) or any other reputed cementing school.
Field Supervisor should have done planning & supervising of primary cementation of at least three offshore U-HPHT wells having BHST above 300°F.
He should have an experience of five (5) years of performing cementing services independently, out of which at least 2 years should be in offshore areas.
 
Below mentioned documents are required to get the CV approved from the customer.

1. 7 job logs will be required.
   1. Minimum  of 5 job log shall be offshore in different years.
   2. The other 2 job log can be onshore with a different year than above.
   3. All job log shall span (cover) over minimum 5 years.
   4. No plug job is accepted.
   5. all shall be signed (no excel accepted)

Desired Characteristics:-
The Cementer (field Specialist) deployed should be agile and of sound health to carry out vigorous operational & maintenance job of cementing unit. The Cementer deployed should not be more than 60 years of age.
