Contract Length: 16 months

Schedule: Monday – Friday (Wednesday & Friday WFH), 40 hours/week.
Role Overview
As a Project Manager you will be a key contributor to the management of facilities regulated programs to achieve reliable operation and continuous improvement of all assets located within the Company's Canadian pipeline systems. The Project Manager is an individual contributor who will work closely with other groups, including Operations and Engineering, to plan, organize and execute the facilities regulated programs. In this role, we will rely on you to provide strong technical, project management, organizational, and communication skills and to develop the knowledge of our systems, processes and tools required to plan and execute the program.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage General Plant Maintenance Capital (GPMC) projects for process safety critical equipment.
- Oversee various maintenance projects to ensure all applicable regulatory and corporate requirements are met.
- Work with support teams and Project Controls to establish baseline execution schedule and spend forecast early in the project lifecycle.
- Direct and manage the work of external consultants and contractors.
- Effectively collaborate with the internal stakeholders and understand their expectations and expert contributions and how they can contribute to the program or project success.
- Optimize and align field resources to support field implementation.
- Identify data integrity improvements and cost savings through analysis of the programs.
- Support the development and implementation of the Company's project management tools, standards and processes to support the implementation of regulated programs within Canada.
Minimum qualifications
- 3 years of related project management experience.
- Familiarity with project management principles and practices.
- Proven ability to embrace and lead change and quickly understand new processes and related issues.
- Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel.
- Leadership skills in delegation, negotiation, communication and consensus building to coordinate work to meet objectives.
- University Degree, technical diploma or equivalent formal project manager training.
- Ability to influence and exercise leadership without formal authority.
- Experience in a Canadian Oil and Gas environment.
- Gas pipeline/gas facilities experience, natural gas preferred.
- Project Management experience within field construction phase of projects.
- Engineering background.
- Have and maintain a valid driver's license and provide a driver's abstract for review.
- Travel to other company locations for temporary assignments, meetings or training which would involve some overnight stays away from home (~25%).
