Aker Solutions take care of energy assets in a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities. Now we explore opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. Aker Solutions employs approximately 11,000 people in more than 20 countries.
What will you be doing?
- Supporting preparation for Operations activities including maintenance, planning and spare‑part evaluation
- Contributing to safe and efficient start‑up, operation, maintenance and modification of facilities
- Developing maintenance and inspection programs for Operations
- Performing spare‑part evaluations in close collaboration with the team and customer
- Reviewing supplier documentation and technical inputs
- Working closely with the wider project team to ensure smooth execution across disciplines
We think you should have:
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, team‑oriented mindset
- Experience with operational and maintenance requirements for industrial facilities, particularly within oil & gas or renewables
- Experience from modification projects
- Solid understanding of equipment functionality, performance and operational principles
- Knowledge of NORSOK Z‑008 and ISO 14224
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to adapt to changing project needs
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Norwegian language skills are an advantage
- Experience working with SAP
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering (mechanical, maintenance or similar)
