As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner, NES Advantage is now looking for an: Operation & Maintenance Engineer to join Aker Solutions in Fornebu!
What will you be doing?
- Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance program for oil & gas and renewable facilities
- Define and structure preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities and schedules
- Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for maintenance performance
- Implement and manage Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), including:
- Work order management
- Asset tracking
- Maintenance reporting
- Configure and customise CMMS solutions to meet facility-specific requirements
- Support project delivery with strong focus on quality, timelines, and execution
Qualifications we think you should have:
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree within maintenance, reliability, or related fields (Relevant work experience may compensate for missing formal education)
- Knowledge of operational and maintenance requirements for oil and gas facilities (NORSOK Z-008, ISO 14224)
- 0–5 years of maintenance experience; recent graduates are welcome to apply
- Knowledge of maintenance programme development and optimisation
- Understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance strategies
- Hands-on or Project Experience with SAP CMMS is a strong advantage
- Experience from similar maintenance or asset-related projects is preferred
- Fluent in English, written and spoken; Norwegian is a plus
Work location: Fornebu, Norway, working from Stavanger is an option
Start date: ASAP
Initial Contract duration: 30th of Apr. 2027
